extract from article about Indian Riots on Connaught Place in 1942:

According to Ashok, whose father was an employee in Kinsey Studio in 1942, after the Quit India call, activists vented their anger against shops owned by foreigners. They didn't loot them. Kinsey, a British photographer, used to take pictures of the maharajas. Incidentally, he also clicked the wedding pictures of writer Khushwant Singh. After 1942, Kinsey left India and the shop came to be owned by Ashok's father.
