FACING ASIA:
histories and legacies of Asian studio photography

The international two day conference was held in August 2010. The conference speakers focussed on early photographers and their studio practices in Asia, and cross-cultural exchanges in the Asia-Pacific region.

The conference was presented by the Research School of Humanities, Australian National University and the National Gallery of Australia.
